Kellermeister's Pilgrimage for Little Heroes!
Our managing director Mark Pearce and PR guy Dave Rice recently returned from the Holy Land, where they competed in Jerusalem’s half-marathon to raise money for the Little Heroes Foundation.
The duo were two of only three Aussies to take part in the challenging 21km event through the hilly streets of the old city, finishing in a little over two hours.
While there, the boys also launched our first ever fundraising wine, The Pilgrimage Cabernet Shiraz. With our winemakers making a pilgrimage to McLaren Vale to source the premium fruit for this wine, it’s a fitting name for this delightful drop. To further support the work of the Little Heroes Foundation, we’ll be donating $60.00 from every case sold through our cellar door, along with all money raised from the run.
The good news is you don’t need to run a marathon to support this fantastic cause – just enjoy a bottle or two of The Pilgrimage! It’s now available from our cellar door or purchase it here!
